Description

NAO trypsin for adherent cell lines: produced in a plant-based system, without using any animal origin components
Ready to use
Active ingredient is TrypZean, a recombinant bovine trypsin expressed in corn
TrypZean solution is supplemented with EDTA, which helps for cell detachment by catching CA and MG ions
Convenient for serum-free and serum supplemented cell cultures
No protocol change for users of porcine trypsin
Inhibition of TrypZean has to be performed the same way as for the native form, using either serum or classical inhibitors
pH range for use is 7.1 to 7.9
Solution contains phenol red, allowing for detection of pH shift
