Description

AA Sequence of recombinant protein: YGANMEDSVC CRDYVRYRLP LRVVKHFYWT SDSCPRPGVV LLTFRDKEIC ADPRVPWVKM ILNKLSQ. Preparation: Produced in BALB/c x ICR F1 mice immunized with highly pure Recombinant Human MDC (CCL22). Anti-Human MDC (CCL22)-specific antibody was purified from cell culture by Protein G affinity chromatography.

CCL22 may play a role in the trafficking of activated/effector T-lymphocytes to inflammatory sites and other aspects of activated T-lymphocyte physiology. Also, it is a chemotactic for monocytes. dendritic cells and natural killer cells. CCL22 is a mild chemoattractant for primary activated T-lymphocytes and a potent chemoattractant for chronically activated T-lymphocytes but has no chemattractant activity for neutrophils, eosinophils, and resting T-lymphocytes. Binds to CCR4.
