Improve rotor fit and performance using Thermo Scientific™ Nalgene™ High-Speed Round-Bottom PPCO Centrifuge Tubes, featuring uniform wall thickness and diameter. Tubes have excellent chemical resistance.

Features
  • Round bottoms that fit high-speed rotors in refrigerated or nonrefrigerated centrifuges
  • Tubes must be filled at least 80% of total capacity for proper performance
  • For use to 50,000 x g in all refrigerated and non-refrigerated centrifuges (used with DS3111-series friction fit caps for proper performance)
  • Molding technique for uniform wall thickness and increased strength
  • Lip on Part Nos. 3110-1000 and 3110-9500 allows easier retrieval from rotor cavities
  • Uniform diameter (no taper) for better rotor fit and force tolerance
  • Economical choice—may also be used as test tubes
  • Longer lasting than polycarbonate tubes under conditions of repeated autoclaving
  • Autoclavable

Supplied without closure; friction-fit closures available separately (DS3111-series)

12ml tube uses the 16mm closure

15ml tube uses the 16mm closure

16ml tube uses the 18mm closure

38ml tube uses the 25mm closure

50ml tubes use the 29mm closure

100ml tubes use the 32mm closure

Recycling Information: 
Nalgene reusable polypropylene(PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) centrifuge tubes are designed to last many spins under typical laboratory conditions. Yet, as with all durable products, they need to be retired and replaced eventually. These centrifuge tubes are recyclable in many communities. At end of product life, please wash and recycle your Nalgene PP and PPCO centrifuge tubes if services are available in your community.
