Description

Description

  • Designed to produce an extremely uniform system for the transfer of proteins and nucleic acids.
  • Very low buffer volume and current, 0.8mA per cm2 of gel, produces very little heat, preventing band distortion
  • Transfers can be achieved in less than one hour, depending on the molecular weight of the molecules
  • Either single gels or multiple gel stacks can be used with the units
  • Colour coded electrodes: One electrode is manufactured from stainless steel and the other from platinised titanium, making them virtually corrosion free
  • Fast transfer times
  • Available in two sizes
 V10-SDB: 10 x 10cm format - accommodates one 10 x 10cm mini-gel
 V20-SDB: 20 x 20cm format - accommodates up to four 10 x 10cm mini-gels or one 20 x 20cm maxi-gel
