Description

The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).

Heat shock proteins (HSP) are expressed in response to various biological stresses, including high temperatures. There are several major families of HSPs including HSP70, HSP90 and HSP100. HSP40 is a new member of the hsp40 family, exhibits similar expression profile to that of hsc70 in mammalian cells.
